Hola my friends
A good day again today. taught class this morning from 9-11 to some students interested in learning about conducting. See Picture. We covered basic patterns, styles, dynamics, left hand coordination, etc. Basically a quick overview of basic conducting class. We will meet again tomorrow from 9-10 before my chamber music rehearsal. Then again on Friday where we will talk about score study and score preparation. They were great to work with.
Then off to rehearsal. Had a quick quatro queso chipa on my way. Yummy. Rehearsal went really well today. Got through Candide, Jim's solo, all of Copland, Hanson first movement and then October with the strings. Tomorrow we just run the concert and take care of final issues. they are really starting to take ownership of the music. This is good.

Stopped for a snack after rehearsal. Media luna with dulce le leche has become my best friend. It is a croissant filled with this very sweet filling which is made with sweet milk. REALLY goood.
Going to dinner tonight for asado with Gustavo and Rosanna. Will write more when I get home.
